Useful Exam Tips.

- Avoid taking excessive caffeine to stay awake. It dehydrates you.
- Instead of two or three heavy meals, go for four to six small meals a day.
- If you're feeling stressed out, avoid fried and sweet foods and nuts.
- Eight glasses of water. Eight hours of sufficient sleep.

Eliminate The Pitfalls
- Procrastination starts when you have harmless little thoughts such as: I work best under pressure, there are still two more weeks."
- When this happens, remind yourself of your goals and more on the revision that is at hand.
- Be aware of what robs you of your time. Could it be chatting online, daydreaming or going out too often?
- Be forward looking and use your previous disappointments as motivation to work harder next time.

That Big Day
- Be on time. But don't arrive too early because the waiting will build up the tension.
- Do not study or discuss the subjects with other students just before going to exam hall. This can leave you confused.
- If you are very nervous, take a few minutes to breathe deeply.
- Even if you are not confident about the paper you just finished, do not let it affect your preparations for the next paper.

I'm here to update.

Bv Bazaar
We're doing satay, fries & nachos, fondue and drinks initially.
As nachos and fondue already covered by another class, we might want to do something else or sell only satay, fries and drinks. Our Stall Name is "Food R Us" initiated by Yijun. The discussion of stall and finalization of stall is on next Monday (12 May). The timeline of Bv Bazaar is with me. So anyone who wants to take a look, please look for me. Just to tell you if you want to make profits, we really really need to work together as a class. The profits will be in our class fund for either the class chalet or class t-shirt.

Class T-shirt
I know you guys want the class t-shirt but it's the exam period so no one is really doing the class t-shirt now. But just want to ask what colour you want it to be? Jersey/t-shirt w/o collar? I know these questions have been asked last year but there's new students and all that. So we're going to conduct another survey (perhaps) after the examinations. Anything you want to comment on the t-shirt please tell me. I cannot guarantee ALL of us will like the same design/colour/type of clothing. So give me suggestions so the class t-shirt will be suitable for all. Thank you.

Examinations
Just to wish everyone good luck and study hard for the examinations because Mid-Year is very important. Do not be complacent and listen during lessons. As many teachers are simply complaining of us being too noisy these days. So er, take note. Be consistent of your work and you'll pass with flying colours! Quoted from Ms Safura by the way. (:

Hello fellow 2E3-ians,

First of all, a late congratulations to all winning recipients of the sports' day!

Second, I've changed the class blogskin. Actually wanted to put a simple picture but my picture cannot appear for no reason at all. So, anyone want to put a picture there, just put it. Because it's darn plain. Thank you! (:

Third, we really have to start on the Class Spirit Award. If you notice, Ms Ho put up a poster on this beside the Starboard. Please go take a look and give suggestions and share it with the class (or just tell me). Do it as fast as possible (?)

Fourth, BV Bazaar is coming. We're suppose to set up a stall on 31st May if I'm not wrong. Ms Ho put Weishan and I in charge of the planning. Anyone got any creative ideas/suggestions for the stall. The money collected at the end of the day will be distributed evenly to everyone who helped alright? So if you wanna earn more money, come up with ideas on what to sell and all that. BUT, the money we collected might be donated to charity for CIP hours. I can't do this without you guys! Some of us suggested that we do a food & drink stall. Because we think that food and drinks might be easier to sell and easier to earn profits etc. If we set up a game stall, it will be tedious (I tried it). As for selling goods and items, people may just 'see-see' and walk off (window-shopping mah). If you got other thoughts, tell me tell me. :D

Fifth, congratulations those're prize winners! You deserved it and work harder (for everyone)! And good job to those in Speech Day Rehearsals! And those selected to go to Speech Day, remember to turn up! :P
