Useful Exam Tips.

- Avoid taking excessive caffeine to stay awake. It dehydrates you.
- Instead of two or three heavy meals, go for four to six small meals a day.
- If you're feeling stressed out, avoid fried and sweet foods and nuts.
- Eight glasses of water. Eight hours of sufficient sleep.

Eliminate The Pitfalls
- Procrastination starts when you have harmless little thoughts such as: I work best under pressure, there are still two more weeks."
- When this happens, remind yourself of your goals and more on the revision that is at hand.
- Be aware of what robs you of your time. Could it be chatting online, daydreaming or going out too often?
- Be forward looking and use your previous disappointments as motivation to work harder next time.

That Big Day
- Be on time. But don't arrive too early because the waiting will build up the tension.
- Do not study or discuss the subjects with other students just before going to exam hall. This can leave you confused.
- If you are very nervous, take a few minutes to breathe deeply.
- Even if you are not confident about the paper you just finished, do not let it affect your preparations for the next paper.
